Originally from 1984 3.5ltr Rover but had the following work:
  • Block chemically cleaned inc Oil Gallery and all core plugs replaced.
  • Crank reground.
  • New Main and camshaft bearings.
  • New sleeves (bored out to 3946cc), pistons and rings.
  • Skimmed fly wheel.
  • Engine Dynamically Balanced.
  • New Piper 270/2 performance cam shaft and heavy duty timing chain and gears.
  • New oil gears and oil base plate.
  • New Stage 1 4.6L Range Rover heads plus all new pedastools, rockers, rocker shafts and push rods.

I decided not to go for the side pipes after Hannah, my daughter (and honorary bloke when it comes to all things 'car') burnt her leg when we went for a test drive - she is still very proud of her 'Sumo Burn' scar.
